Actor y dramaturgo, actualmente trabaja en el montaje "Gente estúpida", Teatros Luchana, Madrid.

PROFILE

Antonio Sansano holds first degrees in Sociology from the University of Alicante and in Dramaturgy from the RESAD School of Dramatic Arts in Madrid, as well as a Masters degree in Stage Arts from the King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He has also completed studies in Acting and Dramatic Representation at the CNC Madrid.

On a professional level he has worked as an actor in theatre, cinema and television, as a film producer, as a teacher at the ESAD in Castilla y León and at the Escuela Municipal of Madrid, and as a dramaturg for the Alma Viva company. He is a standing member of the dramaturgical research group led by J. S. Sinisterra.

His published work includes the comedy El Año de Maritere, the tragedy Nozos, and Catorce Mil Palabras, winner of the 8th “Ricardo López Aranda” Theatrical Texts Competition. His  plays El Año de Maritere and Lobos were staged in February and June 2009.

He is currently giving classes at EMAD, at the TAI University School of Stage Arts, and at the Sala Babel in Torrelodones, in addition to running a regular theatre workshop for students at the Complutense University Hall of Residence MARA y PIO XII.
